Will Mortimore

Will is a former teacher, head of department and houseparent. He now works in assessment design and delivery at the International Baccalaureate. He’s interested in all things classical Christian education and is the Chair of Trustees for St Anselm’s School. He lives in Cardiff with his wife Chlöe and their three young children.

Briar Lipson

Briar started her career in think-tanks, writing about economics and education. She then taught in inner-city London academies, becoming a Deputy Head and opening four successful new Free Schools.

Soon after getting married, Briar and her husband moved to New Zealand where, most importantly, they started a family. Since their return she's discovered classical education and wants to find ways to advance it for her own and other children.

Jonathan Thomas

Prior to joining the staff of a church in Cardiff, Jonathan was Head of Biology at a boarding school in England and has taught in a variety of state and independent schools. With its emphasis on the true, the good and the beautiful , he believes classical Christian education provides a thrilling answer to the question: "what is the purpose of education?" He is married with young children.

Jonathan Porter

Jonathan studied theology at the University of Cambridge before training to teach through the Teach First programme. He was a founder teacher of Michaela, the top school in the country for academic progress where he was Deputy Head (Pastoral). He's recently completed a Master's degree in the United States and is currently the Deputy Head (Academic) at Radley College.

Adrian Burns

After reading Classics at Oxford, Adrian worked in commerce for 10 years, when a career change called and he became Administrator of a central London church. There he oversaw a significant building project, which led to him becoming Project Director for one of the first City Technology Colleges and having an advisory role in the project management of a series of Academy conversions, culminating in his appointment as Finance Director to one.

Now based in Shropshire, he is a trustee of a Christian bookshop, runs the Junior programme at a local rowing club and acts as Clerk to the trustees of a Multi-Academy trust. He has first hand experience as a parent of both private and state education and of governance in the state sector.
